“The kids area has a lovely vibe to it and is unsurpassed at any other festival” efestivals.co.uk

The Children’s Area at Beautiful Days is co-ordinated by Majical Youth Theatre and has been for over a decade. We will have a range of hands-on workshops and entertainment all weekend long for children of all ages. We have bushcraft, theatre, circus, rides, story-telling, music and craft workshops, face painting and more. The main children’s area is situated right in the heart of the festival site between the Main Stage and The Big Top (Stage 2) but there are also story-telling and play areas in the campsites and family-friendly performances in the seated Theatre Tent starting with wake-up sessions from early in the morning.

We do not run any creche or babysitting facilities at Beautiful Days. If you dont want to be at the festival with your children then leave them at home (not on their own obviously). Parents are reminded that they must be responsible for their children at all times whilst at the festival. If you have any concerns or queries in advance of the event, no matter how big or small, then please don’t hesitate to email us!

We operate a similar policy to other festivals with regards teenagers attending the event. No more than two Teens (age 13-17) are allowed per parent or guardian. If there are a larger number of 13 – 17’s in the same immediate family, or a larger ratio with special circumstances then you would need to contact the festival in advance on info@beautifuldays.org

Lost Children – There is a LOST KIDS tent on site next to the Children’s Area and a Medical Centre – both are 24hrs. Children are given wristbands that you can write your mobile telephone number on – we strongly suggest this is done or its written on their arm. This would prove invaluable should you become separated from your child. There are stewards in high visibility jackets all over site plus security and members of the Police should your child need to ask for assistance.

Family Camping – REDWOODS CAMPING is designated specifically for ’family camping’ although all campsites have a mix of groups of family and friends. Redwoods is the first camping field on the right as you come over the bridge out of the arenas and is the one with the storytelling area under the circle of redwood trees.

Beautiful Days won Best Family Festival at the 2011 UK Festival Awards and has been shortlisted for the same award a number of times. We also won BEST MEDIUM FESTIVAL at the FestivalKidz.com awards in 2015.
