Beautiful Days is a family friendly festival with a relaxed and friendly vibe that is much commented on. After being shortlisted for the last FIVE years in a row, Beautiful Days won BEST FAMILY FESTIVAL at the 2011 UK Festival Awards.

The Children’s Area at Beautiful Days is co-ordinated by Majical Youth Theatre. There are loads of activities, hands-on workshops and entertainment all weekend long for children of all ages. We have crafts, theatre, dressing-up, circus, rides, story-telling, workshops, comedy, face painting and more.

The main children’s area is situated right in the middle of the festival site between the Main Stage and The Big Top (Stage 2) but there are also story-telling and play areas in the campsites.

Practical Information

REDWOODS CAMPING is to be designated specifically ’family camping’ in 2011. Redwoods is the first camping field on the right as you come over the bridge out of the arenas and is the one with the storytelling area under the circle of redwodd trees.

Children are given wristbands that you can write your mobile telephone number on. This would prove invaluable should you become separated from your child. Parents are reminded that they must be responsible for their children at all times whilst at Beautiful Days!
