Q What are the dates for next year’s festival?
Beautiful Days 2010 will take place on the 20, 21 & 22 August

Q When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets are on sale now! Details and links are on the TICKETS page. Please read the terms and conditions of sale before you buy your tickets.

Yes. All persons, no matter what age, must have a valid ticket. Persons of all ages count as part of the festival's capacity. See the TICKETS page for the age brackets for children’s tickets.

Q Are there day tickets available?
There are no day tickets available. If you have a weekend ticket then you can attend for one or all of the days but the price is the same. Please be aware of gate times for entry/re-entry if you are not planning to camp on site and plan to leave and re-enter the site during the festival.

Q Do I have to buy a vehicle pass in advance?
Yes, we strongly advise you but either a car routing pass or campervan pass in advance. These are routing passes which guide you on to the festival site and to parking for the weekend. Please note: We cannot accommodate caravans.

ENTRY TIMES & TRAVEL

Q What time do gates open?
Gates will open for weekend ticket holders at 9.00am on the Friday morning. You will not be able to camp at the festival on Thursday night. Please contact local TIC’s to find campsites or B&B’s nearby if you need them. Gates are open for entry from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. There are contact numbers on the Travel page for local TIC's who can recommend local B&B's and campsites.

Q What time do gates close?
The gates close STRICTLY at 9.00pm on Friday and Saturday and will close for entry and re-entry at 3.00pm on Sunday afternoon. You cannot enter the festival site after that time – no exceptions. Please allow yourself plenty of time when travelling to the festival and be aware of gate closing times if you have left the site for any reason and plan to return. You can exit the festival at any time - the gates are restricted for entry and re-entry only.

Q Where is the festival?
Escot Park is between Exeter and Honiton, off the A30. Your car routing or campervan pass is a routing sticker. There are directions to the festival on the travel page on the website (and on the back of the routing stickers). Follow AA signs off the A30 to get to the festival entrance and on to the site.

Q If I'm being dropped off do I need a vehicle pass?
No. There is a separate gate for those arriving by taxi, bus or being dropped off. Follow AA road signs for the RED ROUTE to the festival.

Q Are there any buses running?
Yes, there will be buses from Exeter to the festival site and the timetable will be available in the New Year. You do not need to book in advance for the festival buses, extra buses will run on demand.

CAMPING

Q Is there a specific family camping field?
Barley Fields Campsite has been specifically designated for quiet/family camping this year. It is the first camping field you enter when you come out of the car parks. Redwoods Camping Field is the next field and has traditionally also been for families as it contains the storytelling area. Beautiful Days is a family festival so all three of the camping fields have families camped in them!

Q Can I park my car next to my tent or drive to the campsite to unload?
No. No vehicles are allowed on to the campsites before, during or after the festival. The car park is about a 10 minute walk from the festival arenas and we will have people assisting with transporting equipment.

Q Can I bring my caravan?
No. Due to our license we are unable to accommodate caravans.
